Oh, that's just how I am. I usually don't show much expression, I just remain blank naturally. Which is both a blessing and a curse, really. Mostly a curse though. >_<;

And also our teacher had us use a mirror to draw ourselves, and when i draw i do tend to look serious. So i drew what i saw.

And life isn't that bad. Just lately alot of stuff to look forward to and not enough for the now.

I didn't see this until now.. (Of course, because I'm not on DA alot.) But you know.. you are really good at drawing real people! I've always thought something was a little off about your anime (no offense).. and it's because you put alot of real-life characteristics in them! ^^U Yeah... anyway, I really like it!

Yeah, i noticed that myself. ^^; The real life characteristics in my anime, i mean.
The guy that illustrates the manga "Blade of the Immortal" has a really nice realistic anime kinda thing going. Like, maybe even a little western in there. I love his style. ^_^

I'm going to try and pick up some techniques for that by looking at his work.
I think if i drop the really anime-listic eyes, i'll do alot better.

And eh, thanks for the compliment. ^^ This was actually like, my first real attempt at drawing realism, so i'm surprised how well it came out. I'm definitely going to try drawing it more often.

That sounds like a good idea.. I'm always wanted to try and draw like... um.. Yun Kouga I think it is, the author of Loveless. ^^; But yeah..
And, of course! You should draw it more often, you're really good at it!
